Joy started attending Christ Community Church in fall of 2018 and was originally brought in through the
college ministry. After five years of dating, including two years of long distance, she married Ethan Hale in May of 2021. They now live in Daytona. Both native to Columbia, MO, they never thought they would end up in Daytona Beach. They feel very blessed by the community they’ve come to be a part of at Christ Community Church. Joy has loved music from a very young age. She started leading worship 10 years ago in her church youth group and has continued through her teens and into her early twenties, desiring to
continue for a lifetime. Joy is passionate about leading the body of Christ in musical and heartfelt worship, seeing the Holy Spirit make the gospel a reality to the hearts of His beloved. She and her new husband enjoy a night in, all things Marvel, and enjoy a good game of cribbage.
