The Grace of Christmas and Our Strength in Life

December 21, 2014 Speaker: Series: Christmas 2014

Topic: Christmas Passage: 1 Peter 1:10–1:12

Larry Kirk teaches from 1 Peter in this Christmas sermon from Dec. 21, 2014:

GRACE OF CHRISTMAS AND OUR STRENGTH IN LIFE.

My hope for all of you and for us as a church in the year ahead is that our faith will be strong. We have a great need for great faith. Faith fuels our Christian life. Faith gives you the strength you need. In the Bible faith is never a blind or irrational leap into the dark. Faith is a step beyond what you can clearly see, sometimes it is a choice to go against what you deeply feel or fear, to trust in God and his word based on good reasons that have been given. God gives us reasons to trust in him and to choose faith. He wants you to have the faith to believe you truly can do all things through him who strengthens you. He wants you to believe you can be strong and of good courage for the Lord your God is with you.
