Larry Kirk: Senior Pastor Emeritus
Larry has been a full-time pastor for more than 46 years. He has been married to Connie since 1975 and they have three grown sons—Alex, Adam, and Aaron. He was educated at Florida Bible College (BA), Calvary Bible College (MA), and Covenant Theological Seminary (MDiv). He has pastored churches in Kansas and Missouri. In 1985 he and Connie came to Daytona Beach, FL to plant a church that would become Christ Community Church, Daytona Beach. They have now been here over 39 years. A committed and gifted, gospel-centered expository preacher, Larry has had the privilege of teaching preaching for more than 22 years as an adjunct professor at Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando as well as for the various networks and denominational church-planting workshops. Larry is committed to authentic, gospel-centered ministry and about being missional through church-planting. In his free time he enjoys outdoor activities, noodling on guitar and reading broadly.
