These are ministries offered through Christ Community Church specifically for women.
Weekly Activities
Daytime Women's Sermon Discussion Group - Meets at the church on Thursdays @ 9:30 am.
Fellowship Breakfast - First Tuesday of the month at Cracker Barrel @ 9 am.
Wounded Heart Study - This group's focus is on spiritual renewal after sexual abuse.
MOPs - For Mothers of Preschoolers, this is a time to build relationships and receive encouragement during this unique stage of life. Meets September thru May.
Special Events
Baby Showers - This is a great way to show love and support for families. Showers are scheduled on Sunday afternoons after the second service. Watch the bulletin for scheduled showers.
Quarterly Gatherings - In addition to our weekly events the Women's Ministry also coordinates quarterly gatherings that meet at the church, or elsewhere, typically on a Friday evening. These gatherings usually celebrate a theme and are a special time to connect with and make friends in our community.
Annual Retreats - Our Annual Women’s Retreat is at Canterbury Retreat & Conference Center in Oviedo the weekend of February 24th & 25th. The speaker this year is Dr. Jim Coffield. His topic will be "Important Conversations: How to Talk Heart to Heart with Everyday Friends". Contact the church office for more.
Annual Camping Trips - Each spring our Women's Ministry plans a weekend camping trip somewhere in Florida. These trips are great for women who want to get away and enjoy the great outdoors.
