Nicaragua Missions
Each year in February and June, we send teams of people to San Ramon, Nicaragua wtih Corner of Love Mission. These are often medical mission trips and clinics are held for the people of San Ramon. You don't have to be a medical professional to participate in one of these trips. There are plenty of jobs and tasks to be done. Even children have gone and done their part to help!
We help to gather medical supplies for the team to take, along with basic toiletries, clothes and shoes - things that we take for granted but are in short supply there.
The vast majority of the medicine given on these trips is an anti-parasitic to help with water-born disease. Each person seen at these clinics is given enough treatment for their whole household.
There are many ways to be involved: You can join one of the trips and become a missionary yourself! You can contribute money to help someone else go. You can also contribute needed items or money to purchase these needed items that the missionaries take with them.
