Jacksonville University- (JU)

Jacksonville University is a private university located on the banks of the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, FL. It was founded in 1934 and enrolls approximately 3,200 undergraduate students. The school is quite diverse, representing 45 states and 50 countries.

The JU Dolphins field 20 varsity athletic teams, most of which compete in the Atlantic Sun Conference, a NCAA Division I conference. Athletes represent close to 25% of the student body on campus.

Jacksonville University has 3 colleges, offering over 70 majors. The school offers degrees ranging from music and fine arts to aeronautics to business. The school’s Navy ROTC program is the oldest in the state of Florida, with well over 100 cadets enrolled.
